<li>In collaboration with the Ambassador Board, organize, and execute successful fundraising events, both large and small, to generate significant revenue and increase community engagement.</li>

GENERAL
<ul>
<li>Team Collaboration – Collaborate effectively as a member of the Development, local and Central Services teams, contributing to effective. communication and solid teamwork, as well as manage and work in partnership with a direct report by providing clear direction, support, and mentorship.</li>
<li>Advocacy and Partnership – Promote and showcase regional programs/services through written communication (digital and print) as well as presentations to community, corporate, government, congregational, and civic groups in partnership with Communications Team and Regional Program Staff.</li>
<li>Data Monitoring, Tracking, and KPI Attainment – Manage all donor/data tracking through Customer Relationship Management software including data entry, activity tracking, trend monitoring. Data monitoring will also include staying up to date on Development Team Key Performance Indicators.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Ongoing Professional Development and Community Engagement- Demonstrate qualities of growth mindset with willingness to learn, grow, and develop their learning around fundraising, LSF, and the local region. The expectation is this individual strives to become an embedded part of the Development team, local leadership, and region’s business and development community to support LSF programs.</li>
<li>Uphold confidential information found in the donor database, while keeping accounts accurate and current meeting notes in the donor database.</li>

Physical Requirements:

<li>Successfully completes tasks in varied environments including a moderately noisy environment at times.</li>

Education and Experience: 
Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in related field required.&nbsp; 3 years of related fund-development experience within a nonprofit or government relations setting with a proven track record of success. Experience managing teams/personnel preferred.
Also required: Successful completion of a Level II background screening, local criminal record check and drug screening prior to hiring.
Other: Must demonstrate sensitivity to our service population’s cultural and socioeconomic characteristics and needs.

The Employee Relations Manager will provide high touch human resources support to our KIPP Miami workforce, which includes both instructional and non-instructional staff. This role encompasses a broad scope of responsibilities, including managing employee relations issues at the school, regional, and CMO levels; partnering with the HR Operations team on onboarding, benefits, compensation, and self-service tools; supporting performance management and teacher certification; overseeing leave management, reasonable accommodation requests, and workplace investigations; and developing policies and processes that remove barriers so staff have the tools and support they need to focus on the classroom. By fostering a supportive and compliant work environment, this role helps ensure our educators can deliver a world-class education and prepare students for choice-filled lives. This is a Miami-based, hybrid position requiring in-person and the flexibility to work from where appropriate.
This position also requires a deep commitment to the KIPP Team and Family mission of educational equity and to supporting staff so they can create the conditions for students to thrive.

Here's what you'll be doing:
Employee Relations Support

<li>Conduct Employee Relations investigations, including gathering and analyzing facts, applying relevant laws, policies, and past practice to reach conclusions and present findings for further action and proposed remediation.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Prepare investigation summary reports, track investigations in case management systems, and draft proposed disciplinary documentation as needed.</li>
<li>Consult with managers and leadership teams to provide guidance to address specific employee performance concerns, including performance improvement plans and involuntary termination processes and practices.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Guide and train managers in overall performance management concepts in alignment with the organization’s philosophy, practices, and processes.</li>
