Position Overview:

Schedule: MondayFriday | 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM

Start Date: As soon as credentialing is complete (typically 1.52 weeks after offer)
Role Responsibilities:
This technician role supports daily operations including prescription processing, inventory control, and patient coordination. Youll also assist with medication packaging, insurance adjudication, and ensure full regulatory compliance.
Key Duties Include:

Enter prescription data and process medication orders

Work through insurance claim denials and rejections

Package and label medications for review by pharmacists

Perform regular inventory audits, restock supplies, and monitor expiration dates

Handle medication returns, quarantines, and disposals

Support cross-functional tasks across pharmacy operations as needed

Maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA and insurance standards
Candidate Requirements:

High school diploma or GED
-
Active Florida pharmacy technician license

Certified with the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB)

At least 2 years of pharmacy technician experience

Strong attention to detail, organizational ability, and communication skills

Previous experience in a pharmacy call center or fast-paced environment preferred
