Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Miami, Florida. This long-term contract position requires someone who pays close attention to detail and excels in managing full-cycle accounts payable processes, including invoice coding, reconciliation, and payment execution. Responsibilities:
• Process and manage full-cycle accounts payable functions, including matching, batching, and coding invoices.
• Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Execute payment runs via Automated Clearing House (ACH) and check payments.
• Handle three-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and receipts.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to address and resolve payment-related inquiries.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit purposes.
• Support audit processes by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all accounts payable operations.
• Monitor and manage purchase orders to ensure proper alignment with invoices.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency within the accounts payable workflow.
• Proven experience in accounts payable operations, including full-cycle AP processes.
• Proficiency in invoice coding and payment execution methods such as ACH and check runs.
• Strong understanding of three-way matching and purchase order reconciliation.
• Ability to perform accurate account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Familiarity with audit requirements and documentation management.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills for vendor and internal team collaboration.
• Knowledge of accounting software and tools relevant to accounts payable.
