Responsibilities
- · Make outgoing phone calls to confirm job/service specific details with vendors. This is a high volume environment (>100 jobs per day), must be able to keep up with pace of business.
- · Enter purchase orders, including vendor information, pricing, and service specific details into proprietary purchase order system in a timely and accurate manner.
- · Ensure client and vendor information is current and correct.
- · Perform other data entry duties, including developing and maintaining spreadsheets to track job details and status.
- · Generate reports of sales data and job progress.
- · Receive inbound phone calls from vendors and prospective clients.
- · Handle ad-hoc requests from the Sales Manager.
Qualifications
- · BS/BA degree in business administration or related field.
- · Preferred at least 3 years experience in sales, office administration, data entry, and/or customer service roles.
- · Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
- · Basic data entry/computer skills and ability to learn new systems.
- · Maintain an appropriate sense of urgency throughout the day.
- · Accountability for work product, including punctuality, attendance, and quality of work.
- · Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage competing tasks.
· Excellent customer relationship skills.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
