Job Description

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1+ year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is for a skilled Cath Lab Technician with expertise in imaging to support cardiovascular procedures. This contract position is based in North Fort Myers, FL, offering a dynamic work environment within a specialized cardiac care setting. Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain imaging equipment during cardiac catheterization procedures
Assist cardiologists and surgeons by preparing patients and equipment for diagnostic and interventional procedures
Monitor patient vital signs and ensure patient safety throughout the procedure
Maintain sterile field protocols and adhere to facility standards for infection control
Document procedures accurately and communicate findings to the cardiac team
Perform equipment quality checks and troubleshoot technical issues as needed

Desired Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Cath Lab Technologist or Technician with a solid background in imaging
Certification in Cardiac Catheterization Lab Technology or equivalent credentials preferred
Strong understanding of cardiovascular anatomy and cardiac catheterization procedures
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment
Basic life support (BLS) certification required; advanced certifications a plus
