Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide comprehensive speech and language services for students in a K-12 school setting located in Port Saint Lucie, FL. This contract position is for the current school year and focuses on supporting the communication needs of students across grade levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments for K-12 students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on students needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students communication goals
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of progress and reports
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional recommendations

Qualifications:

  • Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Experience working in school settings with children from kindergarten through 12th grade
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders commonly seen in school-aged children
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
