<h3>Job Description</h3>
The University of Miami Health System is initiating a search for a Gastroenterologist. The physician in the clinical track is responsible for providing direct inpatient and outpatient care to GI patients at UHealth Locations and Jackson Memorial Hospital. He/she will provide outpatient clinical and endoscopic services, as well as rounding/teaching on inpatients at UHealth Towers, and Jackson Memorial Hospital.
 
Essential Job Functions:
<ul>
<li>Maintain outpatient clinical practice at UHealth locations, UHealth Towers, and Jackson Memorial Hospital</li>
<li>Perform Core and non-core endoscopic services to patients</li>
<li>Maintain outpatient clinic schedule</li>
<li>Rotate on night and weekend call proportionate to other faculty</li>
<li>Rotate proportionate to other faculty on inpatient and JMH teaching services</li>
<li>Provide advanced endoscopic call proportionate to other advanced endoscopic physicians.</li>
</ul>
 
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>MD Degree and ACGME US internal medicine internship and residency</li>
<li>Gastroenterology fellowship</li>
<li>Advanced endoscopy fellowship</li>
<li>BC/BE Gastroenterology</li>
<li>Valid unrestricted Florida Medical License or eligible to apply</li>
