White Elephant Palm Beach is seeking a year-round Front Office Manager to assist the Director of Rooms with all aspects of Front Desk, Concierge, Bell/Valet, Retail and Pool/Beach departments.
As a leader, applicant must embody qualities that help to inspire our dynamic team while being open-minded, have self-awareness, be authentic and have positive interpersonal communication skills.
Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within a resort style hotel.
Must have flexibility on schedule and availability to work nights, weekends and holidays when needed.
Other important aspects of this position include the ability to:
- Promote the professional growth and development of the entire Front Office team
- Foster strong inter-departmental relations and integrate the team with other operational departments
- Maintain positive guest relations at all times
- Schedule and facilitate regular departmental training
- Be aware of all Hotel services/features
Applicants should also work well under pressure, possess excellent communication skills, be organized, flexible, self-motivated, and have a great sense of humor. Experience with computers and Microsoft Office essential.
