The Business Analyst will be responsible for analyzing the business needs of internal departments to help identify business problems and propose solutions. Within the systems development life cycle domain, the BA will work as a liaison among stakeholders to elicit, analyze, communicate and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies and information systems.

The following are the usual, basic and essential functions of the position. These functions are not to be construed as an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties and skills required.


  • Coordination
    • Liaise with department heads or delegates to construct change requirements/specifications
    • Draft agenda for steering committee meetings
    • Verify that sufficient documentation is retained in the TFS workflow item to ensure appropriate T-Shirt sizing (Development Effort)
    • Attach supporting documentation to TFS Tickets
    • User Acceptance Testing
    • Confirm that testing completed coincides with requested changes
    • Verify testing signoff was completed prior to deployment & change
    • Attach supporting testing documentation to TFS ticket & updating work status
  • Post production
    • Coordinate with department heads for smoke testing effort
    • Continuous monitoring of the TFS work item queue
  • Scope
    • All internally developed applications & 3rd party implementations
    • Phone system (Yoursite Explorer, Etc.)
    • Lender Verification admin

Required Knowledge, Skills & Ability

  • Positive work record and evaluations
  • Exemplary attendance record
  • Deductive and inductive reasoning
  • Exceptional written and oral expression
  • Ability to operate in various software programs simultaneously
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including TFS, Word, Excel, Power point and Excel
