A Day in the Life:
Communicate empathetically with customers and help them through the process in a fast, fair and easy manner.
Confirm location and complete an assessment of customers vehicle including inspecting damages, taking photos, locating parts, and writing estimate.
When you are not in the field, use advanced video technology to collaborate with onsite vendors to identify damages and write a damage estimate from a virtual setting
Provide copy of estimate to customer and / or to the repair facility and issue payment for damages if warranted
Upload photos and estimate and document file with notes regarding decision-making process
As needed, evaluate the total loss value of a non-repairable vehicle for customers, assess salvage value, and settle total loss
Negotiate claim settlements with customers in accordance with business unit standard methodologies.
Use data and analytics to tell a story and influence decision making
Flexibility to work in a variety of environments - independently, within a team, face-to-face, and virtually.

Job Qualifications

Youre a great Match for this Role if:

You have three or more years of estimating experience
You have prior experience using an auto estimating program such as: CCC One, Audatex, or Mitchell
You enjoy the ability to work independently starting your day from home, and traveling to various locations to restore peoples lives through outstanding customer service

Youre an empathic, upbeat and friendly self-starter
Youre excited about solving problems and coming up with creative solutions
Youre organized and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Youre known for clear and professional communication both written and verbal
Being bilingual and/or having prior military experience is a plus
Candidates must reside within 50 miles of the Fort Myers, FL.
Internal Candidates:Preference will be given to applicants who have been in their current role for at least one year

Customer Service

Makes and maintains a connection with the customer by understanding and meeting their needs; serves the customer with empathy; and follows up to ensure that customer needs have been met
Researches and responds to complex customer communications, concerns, conflicts or issues
Reviews customer satisfaction results; participates in determining necessary personal and business unit action plans
File Documentation and Reporting

Summarizes documents and enters into claim system notes
Documents a claim file with notes, evaluations and decision making process
May work the Triage Tool and partners with the Good Hands Repair Network for vehicles that may be potential total losses, and determines repairability and if repairs can be settled rapidly.
Damage Estimating

Investigates complex files, reviews damage, takes photos, and determines reparability or total loss
Prepares damage estimates or valuation for complex claims and locates parts
Prepares, reviews, reconciles and/or approves supplements
Conditions vehicles and prepares report for customer
Determines valuation of salvage
Evaluates diminished value in a complex claim
Claim Payment Processes - Issuance and Authority

Processes claims payments
Initiates payments (QCP, Fast Mobile Epay, etc.) and pays appropriate parties
Negotiation and Settlement Guidance

Negotiates and settles complex claims in accordance with business unit best practices
Other Projects and Responsibilities

Responds to complex arbitrations contentions
May participate in one or more complex special assignments
May serve as a committee team lead for medium-sized projects or as a committee team member on large projects

Compensation Data

Whats in it for you?

Compensation range for this position is $56,000. - $79,500. per year, based on experience and qualifications.
