Agent/Account Manager
The Windward Insurance Agency is seeking an energetic and customer-focused Insurance Agent/Producer to join our sales team.
Successful candidates will be self-motivated, possess good interpersonal skills, and be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Candidates must also be able to sell new and renewal auto, property, and other personal lines insurance, as well as identify account rounding, cross-selling, and upselling opportunities.
The ideal candidate must be sales oriented, outgoing, persistent, and have excellent phone skills. Prior sales experience and a customer service background are required.
Essential Functions:
Sell insurance policies to potential and existing customers. Respond to leads from various sources, including referrals, internet requests, and phone calls. Understand needs, provide quotes, and follow up to bind coverage and close sales. Provide insurance advice and explanations as needed to customers to ensure understanding of policy language and coverage. Build trusted customer relationships. Develop local referral sources and relationships to expand business opportunities. Manages a book of business; updates policy information as needed, handles renewals, and cross-sells new or enhanced coverage to expand the customer relationship. Ensures customer policies are aligned with customer needs. Meet production, communication, and business development goals and expectations.
