Billing and Receivables Associate
This position supports accounting functions for Florida Peninsula Claim Services (FPCS), a subsidiary of Florida Peninsula Insurance Company. Under the general supervision of the Controller and FPCS Claims Manager, performs a variety of professional accounting work with an emphasis on technical tasks related to adjuster payroll calculations and preparation of payroll financial reports
Essential Functions:
Coordinates the daily operation of the FPCS billing system; reviews all additions, deletions, and changes in information for accuracy Checks claims records and papers for clerical and mathematical accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established FPCS standards and procedures Generates billing invoices in QuickBooks; processes, calculates, and prepares billing summaries; balances and corrects billing reports Prepares information provided to HR for inclusion in adjuster compensation, if any. Prepares accounting records and financial and statistical reports Performs related duties as required
