The Role:

As a Contract CAT Claims Desk Adjuster, you will play a pivotal role in our dynamic claims team, ensuring that our clients receive exceptional service during times of crisis. You will be responsible for investigating, evaluating, and negotiating complex CAT claims to ensure fair and expedited resolution. Working closely with policyholders, contractors, and various stakeholders, you will bring your expertise to the forefront, delivering results that make a difference.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough investigations of CAT claims, analyzing policy coverage, damage assessments, and claim validity.
• Utilize your in-depth knowledge and at least 5 years of experience to accurately assess and value damages, applying industry standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with external vendors, contractors, and other professionals to facilitate efficient claims processing.
• Document claim activities, conversations, and negotiations with meticulous attention to detail.
• Communicate professionally and empathetically with policyholders, ensuring they are informed and supported throughout the claims process.

• Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 years of CAT claims handling experience.
• Proficiency in Xactimate system software.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to make informed, data-driven decisions.
• Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant certifications or licenses are a plus.
