Introduction

The Environmental Project Manager will provide environmental technical services to clients as well as environmental site surveys, site investigations, and project management/oversight for asbestos, lead, and mold remediation projects.


How you'll make an impact

  • Performs visual site inspections that may require collecting samples; then evaluating analytical data from samples collected and writing comprehensive, technical reports describing the site and the work performed
  • Evaluate compliance with regard to state and federal health and safety regulations, laws, rules and codes
  • Applies environmental analytical techniques
  • May assist senior consultants with more complex environmental projects, data collection, and proposals
  • Interfaces effectively with field consultants, management, and client organizations
  • Communicate with clients effectively and provide project solutions

About you

  • Minimum 1 year of field experience, along with a BA/BS degree in geosciences, environmental sciences, environmental engineering, civil engineering or a related area of study

Preferred:

  • Valid State of Florida Asbestos Inspectors License
  • Valid State of Florida Asbestos Supervisor License
  • Current training certificates in NIOSH 582, and/or Radon technician, and/or IAQ CIEC or Mold Inspector, and/or EPA Lead Paint Inspector/Risk Assessor.
  • Valid State Florida Drivers License
  • Located in Miami-Dade County or Southern Broward County.

  • Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communications skills, analytical thinking, and computer proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Understands and demonstrates project management skills
  • Able to effectively prioritize task and practice daily efficient time management to complete assignments
  • Detail oriented to provide excellent technical service to our clients on a consistent basis
