The Pharmacy Technician 2 obtains new prescriptions and prescription refill information. The Pharmacy Technician 2 performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative/operational/customer support assignments. Performs computations. Typically works on semi-routine assignments.

In this role you will:

Assist front desk

Answer phone calls

Access, inputs, and retrieves prescription information from computer.

Counts, measures, and fills prescriptions.

Retrieve refills, schedules home and mail deliveries.

Operates cash register and counts money.

Price-checking and restocking of drugs

Required qualifications:

  • Able to lift 10-15 lbs. frequently
  • Proficient in multitasking
  • Demonstrates exceptional customer service skills
  • Must have an active Pharmacy Technician license with the FL Board of Pharmacy
  • Must have an active National Certification (PTCB)
  • Able to stand on your feet for 8-hour work shift
  • Must exhibit exceptional patience and empathy in all patience interactions.
  • Able to thrive in close-knit working environments, strong teamwork, and effective communication.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.
  • High School Diploma or GED

This is an onsite role located at 1500 E. Hillsboro Blvd. #103 Deerfield Beach FL 22441

Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5pm EST

This role is considered patient facing and is part of Humana's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB.
