Position Summary: The Staff Accountant will be responsible for supporting the Finance team with day-to-day accounting activities including, Accounts Payable and Claims Billing functions, as well as assisting the Finance team with month-end closing activities and producing company's financial statements. Essential Functions: Prepare journal entries and assist with the preparation of financial statements in a timely manner. Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations. Prepare monthly bank reconciliations. Assist with commission reports. Process remote bank deposits. Support AP clerk with processing positive pay and printing checks as needed. Support internal billing team by processing claims and invoices as needed. Support 1099 tax reporting. Assist with audits. Other duties as required and as assigned.
