About Us
Rose Serenity Wellness Center Inc. is a small, private mental health clinic in Jupiter, FL, dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care to individuals, couples, and families. We are currently seeking a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern to join our team. This part-time, 1099 position offers a unique opportunity for hands-on experience in both in-person and telehealth outpatient counseling within a supportive and collaborative practice.

Job Summary
We are seeking a licensed Mental Health Therapist and Registered Interns to join our team! In this role, provide outpatient counseling services to a diverse client base, primarily focused on individual therapy but also serving families and couples. Sessions will be conducted both in-person and through a HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform. Additionally, this role involves fieldwork, requiring the intern to meet clients in community settings such as schools, homes, or other public locations as needed. If you are a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern, we offer free supervision hours toward your licensure.

Pay
$25.00 - $60.00 per hour clinical hours based on experience

Expected Hours
10 – 40 per weeks

Schedule

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

Responsibilities

  • Provide mental health therapy for individuals, couples, families, and children in a private practice setting, both in person and via telehealth.
  • Provide mobile mental health services, meeting clients at schools, homes, or other public settings as required.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough clinical documentation for each client session, utilizing clinical terminology.
  • Collaborate with qualified supervisors and team members to develop effective treatment plans.
  • Engage with clients professionally and respectfully, ensuring culturally competent and sensitive care.
  • Use evidence-based treatment methods to facilitate group and individual treatments.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in counseling, social work, or similar field
  • Current and unrestricted LMHC, LMSW, or LMFT OR RMHCI, RCSWI
  • Realiable vehicle & liability insurance required
  • Experience 2-5 years in the mental health field
  • Language Skills Must be fluent in English. Fluent in Spanish as well is preferred but not required.
  • Mobility Ability to travel within the community to meet clients as needed.
  • Documentation Skills Proficient in clinical note-taking and terminology.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certified
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
