Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years Deaf &amp; Hard of Hearing Specialist experience required. 
A school district in Punta Gorda, Florida is seeking a dedicated Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Teacher for the 20252026 academic year. This full-time, itinerant role provides in-person services district-wide to students with hearing differences.
Position Details:
<ul>
<li>
Full-time, on-site only
</li>
<li>
Travel to multiple schools across the district
</li>
<li>
Serve approximately 20 students: 7 monthly consults, remainder receive direct services
</li>
<li>
Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families
</li>
<li>
Support IEP goals and maintain progress documentation
</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>
Florida certification in Deaf and Hard of Hearing (K12)
</li>
<li>
Degree in Deaf Education or related field
</li>
<li>
School-based experience preferred
</li>
<li>
Excellent communication and collaborative skills
</li>
