Now Hiring: Experienced Barista for The Ship and Sip Store!
Are you an experienced barista who knows the difference between a flat white and a cortado, and can pour a tulip with your eyes closed? The Ship and Sip Store is looking for a passionate, detail-oriented coffee professional to join our team and bring a higher level of craftsmanship to our growing café.

Requirements:
- Minimum 1–2 years of barista experience in a specialty or high-volume café
- Confident with latte art (basic and advanced pours)
- Experience working with manual and semi-automatic espresso machines, grinders, and scales
- Solid understanding of coffee origins, roasts, grind settings, and brewing methods (pour-over, French press, etc.)
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to engage regulars and new guests alike
- Comfortable multitasking, especially during morning rushes. Must be able to take orders and create beverages efficiently.
- Team-oriented with strong communication skills
- Flexible availability, including some weekends and holidays
- Must be available Wednesday and Friday mornings
Responsibilities:
- Craft consistently excellent espresso-based drinks and specialty brews
- Prepare a variety of coffee beverages while showcasing skill in latte art and drink presentation
- Maintain high cleanliness standards of coffee bar and equipment
- Help manage inventory, restocking, and daily prep
- Be part of building a coffee culture inside a dynamic store that also offers shipping and retail services
- Willing to cross train and backup the Packaging and Shipping Desk
