The Production Supervisor oversees daily operations on the shop floor, ensuring production targets are met efficiently, safely, and in alignment with defined manufacturing processes. This role requires hands-on coordination of personnel, equipment, and materials to maintain quality standards and resolve issues in real time. Responsibilities include keeping tools and machinery clean, organized, and in proper working condition; ensuring the workspace meets safety and cleanliness standards; and verifying that final products conform to documented specifications.
Responsibilities
- Execute the production plan and ensure on-time delivery.
- Maintain efficiency and other key department metrics.
- Monitor raw material stock, quality, and availability for production.
- Maintain equipment, tools, and workspace in safe, clean, and working condition.
- Inspect finished products for quality and resolve issues with Engineering.
- Manage shipments, receiving, and training of new production staff.
Essential Skills
- Technical experience with machinery, including programming and maintenance.
- Strong communication with Engineering and Operators.
- Team collaboration across departments such as Engineering, Planning, and Purchasing.
- 3-5 years in manufacturing or production work environment.
- Proven leadership experience.
- High school diploma (required).
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in an engineering-related field (Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering preferred).
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Teams, OneDrive, Word, Excel).
- Familiarity with ERP systems.
- Bilingual – English and Spanish.
- Working knowledge of production machinery.
- Proactive problem solver.
- Effective team leader and communicator.
- Organized and detail oriented.

This is a Contract position based out of Miami, Florida.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.69 - $36.06/hr.
