Established CPA firm based in Coral Gables seeking an experienced accountant for full-time permanent position.
The candidate should have a commitment to client service, deadlines, a willingness to learn and accept new challenges, and be a flexible, highly organized, self-starter who is able to handle multiple projects.
Prepare tax returns for individuals, corporations and partnerships. Ensure tax adjustments are made to financial statements for preparation of tax returns. Process monthly and quarterly write-up work.
Reconcile bank statements, prepare monthly and quarterly sales tax returns and payroll reports (941's, FL RT-6's)
Maintain relationships with clients
Required Experience:
*Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (preferred but not required)
*3 or more years of Public Accounting and tax experience
*Strong knowledge of QuickBooks
*Work well under pressure and ability to meet deadlines
*Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
*Proven ability to work independently and as a team
*Strong command of both English and Spanish
