Priddy Spaces is a family-owned holding and management company that owns and operates a growing portfolio of flexible workspace facilities under the Venture X and Office Evolution brands. With a focus on premium hospitality, efficient operations, and scalable systems, Priddy Spaces manages multiple LLCs across various coworking and commercial real estate properties.

Position Overview

The Controller will oversee the financial operations of Priddy Spaces and its affiliated entities, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and strategic insight across all accounting and finance functions. This includes managing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow analysis, and supporting the leadership team with data-driven decision-making. The Controller will also ensure compliance with GAAP and all applicable regulatory requirements. In addition to these core duties, they must have experience in securing funding, which includes preparing for investment, managing investor relations and closing capital raises.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all accounting operations including A/R, A/P, GL, payroll, and bank reconciliations across multiple entities.
  • DOR sales and use tax reporting and filing for all locations.
  • Manage month-end and year-end close processes and prepare consolidated financial statements.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for all locations and entities.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow, prepare rolling forecasts, and assist with capital planning.
  • Prepare investor and partner reporting, including K-1 support and distribution tracking.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls, accounting policies, and best practices.
  • Coordinate with CPA firms for annual tax filings and financial audits.
  • Support new location onboarding and setup of accounting systems for new LLCs.
  • Collaborate with operations to analyze unit economics and drive profitability improvements.
  • Oversee and maintain accounting software systems.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/strong accounting background preferred).
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in real estate, hospitality, or multi-entity environments.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
  • Strong understanding of taxes in multiple states.
  • Experience managing financials across multiple LLCs or properties.
  • Experience with capital strategy and raising funding.
  • Experience with commercial leases, M&A and compliance.
  • Proficiency in accounting and finance software (QuickBooks, Excel, etc.).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a growing, fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
