Job Description

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Paralegal with expertise in personal injury and litigation to assist attorneys in managing complex cases. The ideal candidate will handle case preparation, client communication, and legal research, ensuring efficient case progression while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and professionalism.


Essential Functions:

  • Assist attorneys in all phases of personal injury and litigation cases, from intake to resolution, including pre-trial preparation and trial support.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and settlement agreements.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and case law analysis to support case strategies and arguments.
  • Manage case files, ensuring accurate documentation, deadlines, and compliance with court procedures.
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, medical providers, and insurance companies to gather information and provide case updates.
  • Coordinate discovery processes, including organizing and summarizing medical records, depositions, and interrogatories.
  • Prepare demand letters, settlement packages, and trial exhibits with attention to detail.
  • Schedule hearings, mediations, depositions, and client meetings, maintaining strict calendaring to meet deadlines.
  • Assist in trial preparation, including organizing evidence, preparing witness lists, and coordinating logistics.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as filing, e-filing, and maintaining case management systems.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field, or equivalent paralegal certification.
  • 3+ years of paralegal experience in personal injury and litigation, preferably in a plaintiff-focused law firm.
  • Strong knowledge of personal injury case processes, including medical terminology, insurance claims, and settlement negotiations.
  • Proficiency in litigation procedures, including discovery, trial preparation, and court filings.
