A full-time Speech Language Pathologist is sought for a K-12 educational setting serving students with moderate to severe needs. This contract role supports a diverse student population from Pre-K through 22 years of age, providing essential speech and language services in a supportive and dynamic environment. Experience with behavioral challenges and supervising Speech Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) is a key component of this role.

Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations, delivering direct and consultative speech therapy services, and actively participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings. The successful candidate will also oversee the work of an SLPA assigned to assist in service delivery and ensure compliance with Medicaid requirements related to speech pathology services.

Key Qualifications:

• Licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist
• Experience working with moderate to severe speech and language needs
• Ability to manage behavioral challenges effectively
• Proven skills in supervising and collaborating with SLPAs
• Competence in conducting evaluations and providing both direct and consultative services
• Familiarity with Medicaid billing procedures
• Comfortable working with a broad age range, from early childhood to young adults up to 22 years old
