Bilingual Front Desk
Hours: M-F 8am to 5pm
Pay Rate:18.00-20.00
Location: Homestead, FL 33033
Duration: temp contract starting July 9th
Scrub color: Navy Blue
Position: Bilingual Front Desk
Job Description:
- Answering calls and scheduling appointments in Epic which may require creating a medical identity if the patient is new
- Scheduling appointments in person or by telephone, send reminders and follow up on no-shows.
- Receive and convey messages electronically, in writing and verbally
- Schedule appointments according to office scheduling policies
- Interact effectively with staff and clients in order to maintain a professional working environment.
- Mark patients accordingly in Patient Tracking System
- Follow policy related to cashier functions
- Discuss & interpret patient balance information within the guidelines of the office's collection policy.
Requirements:
- Bilingual a must fluent in English/Spanish
- Maintain a cheerful, positive and respectful attitude.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Good telephone, computer, and typing skills.
- Experience in a medical setting preferred.
- Minimum 1 year experience as medical receptionist preferred.
- Bilingual
- High school graduate or equivalent.
