Position Overview:

We are seeking a diligent, detail-oriented, and motivated Associate Attorney to join our growing legal team. In this role, you will handle your own assigned cases, represent clients at hearings, and contribute to all stages of legal casework.

The ideal candidate will be licensed to practice law in the State of Florida and admitted to both state and federal courts. Regular travel to courts across the country may be required. Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend hearings, conferences, and other court proceedings across various jurisdictions.
  • Manage a personal caseload and handle assigned matters from start to finish.
  • Draft legal documents, including but not limited to complaints, answers, motions, objections, and legal memoranda.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare case strategies under the guidance of senior attorneys.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, court staff, and opposing counsel.
  • Keep accurate and up-to-date case files and records.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in Florida, with admission to both state and federal courts (required).
  • Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed.

Preferred (but not required):

  • Additional admissions to other federal district courts.
  • Experience in bankruptcy, commercial litigation, or creditors’ rights.
