Join Our Team as an Aerospace Inspector!

As an Aerospace Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring that every component meets the highest industry standards, supporting our commitment to excellence in aerospace manufacturing.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Conduct first article, in-process, and final inspections using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, CMMs, etc.).
  • Review engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
  • Utilize GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) principles in inspections.
  • Identify and document non-conformances, collaborating with teams to resolve discrepancies.
  • Perform audits of production processes to verify adherence to quality control procedures.
  • Maintain detailed inspection records and generate comprehensive reports.
  • Ensure compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, FAA, and other aerospace regulations.
  • Operate and program CMM (preferred but not required).
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality processes.

Requirements:

What We’re Looking For:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree or certification in aerospace quality preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in aerospace inspection, quality control, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in using precision measurement instruments and inspection tools.
  • Strong understanding of blueprint reading, GD&T, and technical specifications.
  • Familiarity with AS9100, ISO 9001, and FAA regulations.
  • Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action processes.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills for reporting and collaboration.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift or handle materials up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong visual acuity to perform detailed inspections.
