About the Role:
As our Lead Residential HVAC Installer, you’ll oversee the installation of heating and cooling systems in single-family homes, townhomes, and other residential settings. From start to finish, you’ll manage the installation process, guide team members, and ensure each project meets our standards for safety, performance, and customer satisfaction.
- Lead and complete residential HVAC installations (split systems, heat pumps, air handlers, etc.)
- Supervise and train installers and apprentices on best practices
- Ensure compliance with local codes, permits, and safety standards
- Read and interpret blueprints and installation plans
- Coordinate with homeowners and project managers to meet timelines
- Conduct system start-ups, testing, and customer walk-throughs
- Maintain job site cleanliness and accurate project documentation
What You Bring:
- 3+ years of residential HVAC installation experience
- Proven leadership skills on job sites
- EPA Certification
- Knowledge of residential system layouts, ductwork design, and air flow balancing
- Strong communication, troubleshooting, and customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 75 lbs. and work in attics, crawl spaces, and rooftops

The physical requirements of this job include:
- Lifting 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally
- Climbing ladders, accessing attics, navigating tight spaces, driving, entering crawlspaces, pushing, carrying, pulling, using hand tools, and performing fine detail work.
- Ability to drive.
- Working in various environments, including indoor and outdoor settings, attics, crawlspaces.
- Ability to stand, walk and sit; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone.
- Use hands to handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms.
- Regularly stoop, kneel, bend, and crouch.
- The work requires regular exposure to extreme temperatures both indoors and outdoors, such as heat or cold, and adverse weather conditions such as wind, rain, ice or snow.
