Job Description:

The Accountant will support the accounting department by performing a variety of light clerical and basic accounting tasks.

Responsibilities include:

  • Typing and matching payments with purchase orders
  • Preparing bank deposits
  • Performing routine calculations
  • Conducting bank reconciliations
  • Handling accounts payable and receivable
  • Answering customer inquiries and resolving routine problems or complaints
  • Posting and verifying financial data
  • Assisting in the maintenance of accurate accounting records


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
  • Experience: Prior experience in accounting functions, including AP/AR and bank reconciliations, preferred
  • Skills:
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to perform routine clerical and financial tasks
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Familiarity with accounting software and MS Office tools
