A K-12 school in Riverview, FL, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide essential healthcare services within an educational setting for the current school year on a contract basis.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver quality nursing care to students with acute and chronic health needs
• Administer medications and treatments according to physicians orders and school policies
• Perform routine health assessments and maintain accurate health records for students
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to support student health and safety
• Respond effectively to emergency medical situations
• Participate in health education and wellness initiatives within the school environment

Qualifications:

• Current and valid LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) or LVN (Licensed Vocational Nurse) license
• Experience in school nursing or pediatric healthcare preferred
• Strong knowledge of medication administration and basic nursing procedures
• Ability to communicate clearly with children, parents, educators, and healthcare professionals
• CPR and First Aid certification desirable
