We’re hiring dependable and enthusiastic Event Staff to support setup, operations, and breakdown for a variety of events, from corporate functions and trade shows to community outreach and restoration deployments. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy fast-paced environments, teamwork, and hands-on tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with event setup, including tables, chairs, signage, equipment, and decor
- Greet guests, check credentials, and provide directions or support as needed
- Monitor event areas for cleanliness, safety, and supply levels
- Support food service, registration, or vendor coordination, depending on event type
- Respond to on-site needs and communicate with supervisors or coordinators
- Break down and clean up the event space post-event
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with guests and team members
- Follow safety protocols and client-specific guidelines
Qualifications
- Previous events, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Flexible schedule and willingness to work evenings, weekends, or holidays
- Reliable transportation to event sites
- Bilingual (English/Spanish or English/Creole) a plus, depending on client base
- Comfortable working indoors or outdoors in varied conditions
- Must be able to start immediately and be flexible after hours and weekends
