American Van Lines is one of the largest Independent Moving Companies in the nation and growing by the day. We are looking for a Dispatcher to help support our growing fleet of drivers servicing Interstate moves nationwide. Successful candidate should possess a strong work ethic, patience, resilience, excellent interpersonal skills and react quickly in a fast paced environment.
Qualifications:
- Logistics experience required
- House hold moving experience a PLUS!
- Must be able to multitask
- Collaborate with 10 or more drivers on a daily basis
- Great communication skills a must
- Strong follow up skills
- General understanding of a map of the United States
- Able to handle stressful situations
- Review routes with planner to maximize route efficiency
- Assist drivers with work order changes when needed
- Must be detail oriented
- Time management and organizational skills are a must
Special Requirements: Must be willing to be available on weekends and after hours during the week to support drivers if needed.

Salary: $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week

- High school or equivalent (Required)

- Dispatching: 2 years (Preferred)
