We are a busy and respected Neurosurgery practice seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team full-time.

Position Overview:
This role is responsible for managing your full accounts receivable cycle with a focus on medical insurance billing, including Medicare, commercial insurance, and auto insurance claims. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in medical billing and collections, with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow up on insurance claims (Medicare, commercial, and auto).
• Reconcile accounts and will learn to post payments as a backup.
• Monitor outstanding balances and pursue collections.
• Handle denials and appeals.
• Communicate with insurance companies to resolve billing issues.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory requirements.

Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in medical billing/accounts receivable.
Strong knowledge of Medicare, commercial, and auto insurance billing practices.
Familiarity with neurosurgery. Experience in orthopedic, pain management, or specialty billing is a plus.
Proficiency with medical billing software and EHR systems.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Schedule:
Full-time, Monday–Friday.
