There are 3 Cath Labs at UF Health’s Leesburg Hospital and 1 Electrophysiology Lab. This is a close-knit Cath Lab where collaboration and teamwork is celebrated. The benefit about working here is that you will truly learn and acquire valuable experience, as there are a lot of complex interventional cases and structural heart cases. The Providers are excited about the field and love to share their knowledge with their staff. Our Cath Labs offer state-of-art technology and medical devices.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Associate's degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or Respiratory Therapy
  • In Lieu of education requirements, a minimum of five (5) years' experience and:
    • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification (Required within 12 months of hire) OR
    • Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Certification (Required within 12 months of hire)

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

  • FL Certified Radiologic Technologist license with valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification OR
  • FL Registered Respiratory Therapist license with valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification OR
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification OR Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Certification (Required within 12 months of hire if no degree in the applicable fields)
  • BLS
  • ACLS
