Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Prepare and review complex individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns.</li>
<li>Conduct tax research and assist with strategic tax planning for clients.</li>
<li>Work directly with clients to gather information, answer questions, and build strong relationships.</li>
<li>Help guide and mentor staff accountants; support training and development initiatives.</li>
<li>Identify process improvements and assist in shaping workflows for the growing Fort Myers office.</li>

Who You Are
<ul>
<li>CPA or EA preferred; candidates actively pursuing licensure will also be considered.</li>
<li>3-6+ years of tax preparation and review experience in public accounting.</li>
<li>Strong understanding of individual, corporate, and partnership taxation.</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills; comfortable interacting directly with clients.</li>

Snapshot of Key Accountabilities of the Registered Nurse:

Deliver, coordinate, and ensure quality care in gynecology, sexually transmitted disease, family planning/contraceptive counseling, and procedural/recovery services.
</li>
<li>
Support the health center team in providing abortion, colposcopy, LEEP, LARC, vasectomy, and family planning services.
</li>
<li>
Provide pre- and post-procedure education, including contraceptive counseling and follow-up care.
</li>
<li>
Administer medications, perform lab procedures, and maintain accurate patient records, upholding confidentiality and compliance standards.
</li>
<li>
Assist with procedural sedation, including IV administration, sedation assessment, and patient monitoring.
</li>
<li>
Promote a welcoming and respectful environment for all patients, staff, and partners, reflecting PPFL’s core workplace values.
</li>
<li>
Collaborate across teams to ensure smooth health center operations, including participation in after-hours coverage, as needed.
</li>
<li>
Maintain knowledge of internal policies, standards, and procedures, and complete required onboarding and ongoing training.
</li>
</ul>
 
Experience/Education of the Registered Nurse:
<ul>
<li>
Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Florida (or Compact licensure if applicable).
</li>
<li>
BLS/ACLS certification required.
</li>
<li>
Must have a strong understanding of and personal commitment to reproductive rights and the goals and responsibilities of Planned Parenthood.
</li>
<li>
Excellent organizational, communication, and decision-making skills.
</li>
<li>
Comfort discussing sexuality, contraception, sexually transmitted diseases, and pregnancy options.
</li>
<li>
Previous experience working with Microsoft Office suite preferred.
</li>
<li>
Ability to function appropriately in sensitive situations and with diverse populations.
</li>

Benefits and Compensation:

Hourly compensation range for Registered Nurse: Starting at $36.00/hour, with final compensation commensurate with experience.

<li>Eligible for all applicable benefits effective the first of the month, following 30 days from your hire date.</li>
<li>Paid Time Off accrues immediately but cannot be taken until after 90 full days of employment.</li>
