Job Description
The purpose of this position is to deliver and install durable medical equipment (DME), Vertical Platform Lifts (VPL) and related home care supplies to Veteran homes.

Essential Job Duties:

<li>Reviews work orders and documents delivery route. Conducts phone calls to schedule delivery and pick-up of durable medical equipment and supplies.</li>
<li>Locates products within warehouse and loads vehicles with durable medical equipment such as beds, lift chairs, wheelchairs, walkers, scooters, commodes, and supplies. Ensures that equipment is properly secured within vehicle.</li>
<li>Transports durable medical equipment and supplies using delivery van or truck to locations indicated on delivery schedule.</li>
<li>Assembles and installs Durable Medical Equipment at Veteran homes.</li>
<li>Provides patient with orientation and instruction on the proper use of equipment. Responds to patient inquiries on equipment set-up and usage.</li>
<li>Performs follow-up servicing of equipment in the field as necessary. Performs minor repair of equipment as required.</li>
<li>Picks up, unloads, and disassembles returned equipment at warehouse.</li>
<li>Performs documentation tasks including obtaining signatures from Veterans upon delivery. Completes driver log. Completes vehicle pre-trip and post-trip checklists.</li>
<li>Assists in cleaning and disinfecting used equipment as needed.</li>
<li>Performs daily vehicle maintenance and safety checks on assigned vehicle. Cleans vehicles following use.</li>
<li>Regular and reliable attendance at work required.</li>
<li>Ability to pass a drug test and background check</li>

Marginal Job Duties:

Responsibilities
The EVS Assistant Manager is responsible for managing and supervising environmental services staff, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation standards are met in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.
<ul>
<li>Assist the EVS Manager in overseeing daily operations of the environmental services team to ensure high standards of cleanliness.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate records of cleaning schedules, staff assignments, and inventory of supplies and equipment.</li>
<li>Conduct training sessions for staff on cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and infection control measures.</li>
<li>Effectively communicate with staff, residents, and facility management regarding operational needs and feedback.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation policies, including using personal protective equipment (PPE).</li>
<li>Perform quality inspections of cleaning tasks and provide constructive feedback to team members.</li>
<li>Represent HCSG positively through courteous and cooperative interactions with supervisors, co-workers, clients, residents, and guests.</li>
<li>Perform all other duties as assigned.</li>

Qualifications
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent is required.</li>
<li>Previous experience in environmental services, housekeeping, or facilities management is desired.</li>
<li>Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.</li>

<li>Basic computer skills for record-keeping and report generation.</li>
