Job Summary and Qualifications
Under the direction of the Administrative Director and in conjunction with the Medical Director, performs duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures in the application of radionuclides for the diagnosis and treatment of disease in humans. This position requires comprehensive understanding of related technology, independent judgment and complete knowledge of all Federal and Florida Regulatory Commission rules and regulations. Has an understanding of the range of treatment needed for these patient groups

<li>Checks patient's chart to confirm ordered procedures, and acquires pertinent clinical information from the patient, medical chart, electronic medical record system or other available sources.</li>
<li>Assists providers in the performance of invasive and special procedures.</li>
<li>Greets patients appropriately, escorts patients to exam room, reassures patients, explains procedures prior to starting them, and answers questions. Adjusts explanations, communication style, and procedures according to the patients' needs. Explains to patients correct preparations for procedures to be performed.</li>
<li>Cleans and maintains ultrasound equipment, assures proper operation of instruments, reports equipment malfunction to appropriate staff, and performs quality assurance tests.</li>
<li>Participates in quality improvement activities to ensure continuous improvement of services provided.</li>
<li>Follows safety and infection control standards.</li>
<li>Completes all required paperwork, and performs computer functions, such as entering reports, recording completed procedures, logging studies, and ordering procedures.</li>
<li>Adheres to MyDoc policies, procedures and safeguards.</li>
<li>Sites of work: Boca Raton and/or Boynton Beach locations.</li>
<li>Looking for 1 or 2 technologists to cover the following days: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.</li>

Primary Purpose of Position:
Supervises the assigned plant maintenance function as directed.
Essential Functions:
<ul>
<li>Responsible for maintaining a safe and secure work environment. This includes correcting unsafe acts/conditions, facilitating monthly safety meetings, performing monthly safety inspections, and investigating accidents, as required.</li>
<li>Supports development, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of the food safety system.</li>
<li>Provides administration and supervision of the plant maintenance function as directed.</li>
<li>Arranges for maintenance of adequate level of supplies, materials and parts so that there will be no interruption in operations due to shortages.</li>
