Key Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Assist in developing detailed cost estimates and preliminary construction schedules.</li>
<li>Review project specifications and drawings to determine scope and estimate requirements.</li>
<li>Perform accurate quantity take-offs and compile data for bid proposals.</li>
<li>Prepare RFPs and quote requests for subcontractors and vendors.</li>
<li>Attend project meetings and site visits as needed.</li>
<li>Collaborate with estimators, project managers, and leadership to finalize bids.</li>
<li>Manage assistant estimators and support team development.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).</li>
<li>2+ years of construction estimating experience is a plus.</li>
<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with HCSS HeavyBid and scheduling tools (P6, CAD, AGTEK) is a plus.</li>
<li>Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines, including occasional extended hours.</li>
