Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of full-cycle accounting, including bookkeeping, financial statement preparation, and balance sheet management.

• Prepare and analyze profit and loss statements to ensure accurate reflection of company performance.

• Manage bank reconciliations and intercompany accounting transactions to maintain financial accuracy.

• Utilize QuickBooks Desktop to handle day-to-day accounting tasks and generate reports.

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards through regular audits and reviews.

• Collaborate with leadership to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.

• Monitor construction project budgets and expenses, delivering accurate accounting for development initiatives.

• Maintain organized documentation by compiling and scanning financial records.

• Lead the financial close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.- Ok with running hands on with all functions- including bookkeeping- high volume reconciliations.

• Provide oversight for all aspects of financial management within a small company environment.

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting, preferably within construction or property management industries.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and experience with financial statement preparation.
• Strong understanding of bank reconciliations and intercompany accounting processes.
• Proven ability to analyze financial statements and provide actionable insights.
• Familiarity with construction accounting practices and project budget management.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills for managing financial documentation.
• Ability to work independently in a small company setting with approximately 11 employees.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
