Essential Duties and Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Responsible for managing and maintaining General Ledger
Account Receivables
Oversee Account Payables dept.
Maintain and balance the general ledger in an accurate, complete, and up-to-date manner
Responsible for monthly operating budgets
Conduct reconciliation of all accounts monthly
Monthly Financials
Sales Tax
Interpret and apply accounting policies, rules, and regulations to all work to ensure compliance with applicable standards
Assist outside CPA in preparing documents for yearly tax returns and financial reports
Stone Profits a plus!
Process Payroll using ADP
Familiar with the Tile and Wood Industry a plus!
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
Associate Degree in accounting or closely related field (Helpful but not necessary)
Minimum of 5 years bookkeeping experience
Excellent computer proficiency (QuickBooks, MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook, STONEPROFITS a Plus )
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with team
Detail Oriented a must
Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices, a self starter a must!
Human Resource and Office Management knowledge a must
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Hourly - based on experience
