The Business Development Coordinator is pivotal in the assistance of marketing the programs and services to prospective referral resources and securing new client referral relationships for our addiction & mental health treatment programs.
Areas of Responsibility to Position:
- Must ensure that work performance is in alignment with Agape Centers’ Mission Statement.
- Assists in all areas in the development of marketing/PR materials and events that will be utilized for
- building relationships with senior executives, medical professionals, and other key decision maker’s,
- through presentations, seminars, trade shows, cold calling and telemarketing that will result in new client referrals.
- Directly assists and supports marketing department personnel at key meetings with executive level audiences (travel runs roughly 25-75%) and can encompass nights and weekends.
- Performs follow-ups as directed by management on prospect meetings and assist in the successful negotiation and acquisition of new referral/client streams from targeted groups or individuals.
- Develops and assists in the ongoing timely preparation of accurate written reports which detail and monitor individual progress against monthly, quarterly, and annual goals and will also participate in the presentation of reports to internal audiences.
- Contributes to the development of and participates in department-wide campaigns, seminars and all other initiatives as directed by management.
- Demonstrates punctuality, organization, and proficiency in all areas of scheduling, filing, meetings, presentation, and customer relations.
- Demonstrates high proficiency in all computers related applications - Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Frontpage and able to learn Photoshop, etc.
- Demonstrates initiative, personal responsibility, and ownership of work to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual marketing goals in both written and verbal formats.
- Demonstrates ability to find and manage vendors to successful fulfillment of all marketing objectives.
- Coordinates with counselors and clients on all discharges for after care for sober living facilities or IOP services.
- Coordinates with insurance policies for continued care eligibility.
- Is sensitive to Cultural Issues of a client based on their job position.
- Reports Suicidality/Homicide of a client based to their job position.
- Ability of competency and understanding to Addition based on their job position.
- Reports and responds to issues of Trauma of a client based on their job position.
- Reports and responds to issues of Dual – Diagnosis issues of a client based on their job position.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
