We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Crew Chief to lead field crews specializing in mold, fire, and water restoration and remediation projects. This leadership position is ideal for a proactive professional with a background in construction, remediation, or reconstruction, who thrives working independently in fast-paced, hands-on environments and is committed to delivering high-quality results for customers recovering from property damage.
As Crew Chief, you will oversee on-site operations, guide a team of restoration technicians, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, supervise, and coordinate mold, fire, and water restoration projects from start to finish
- Direct and support restoration technicians to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to schedules
- Identify safety hazards, implement control measures, and enforce safe work practices on all sites
- Maintain detailed project documentation, including job files, photos, and client communications
- Manage labor, materials, and equipment efficiently to meet project objectives
- Ensure high customer satisfaction by delivering professional, responsive service
- Travel locally or out-of-state to support projects as needed
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Proven experience in mold remediation, fire restoration, or general construction
- Previous leadership experience supervising crews in restoration or construction projects
- Strong mechanical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
- Effective written and oral communication skills; basic computer and math proficiency
- High school diploma or GED required; IICRC certifications preferred
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Physical ability to lift 50–100 lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces
- Comfortable working with cleaning products, chemicals, and restoration equipment
- Ability to work independently while leading a team in dynamic field conditions
