Scope of Work

Independent Contractor Digital Marketing Specialist


Contract Term

This engagement is for a fixed term of ninety (90) days, commencing on the effective date of the agreement, unless extended or terminated earlier in accordance with the terms of the Independent Contractor Agreement.


Overview

The Digital Marketing Specialist (Contractor) will provide performance-driven digital marketing services focused on growth, conversions, funnel optimization, and analytics. This role will own execution and optimization across paid media, messaging, CRM marketing automation, and analytics, while supporting the Company through a CRM transition. The Contractor will operate independently, managing multiple initiatives during periods of operational change.


Services & Responsibilities

1. Copywriting & Messaging

  • Develop conversion-focused copy for paid advertisements, email campaigns, SMS campaigns, landing pages, calls-to-action (CTAs), and retargeting initiatives
  • Maintain brand voice, messaging frameworks, and compliance standards
  • Test, analyze, and optimize messaging based on performance metrics and campaign data

2. Paid Media Management

  • Set up, manage, and optimize paid advertising campaigns across platforms including Meta, Google, YouTube, and other applicable channels
  • Monitor performance and continuously optimize campaigns to improve ROI, lead quality, and conversion rates
  • Manage budgets, audiences, creative testing, and reporting

3. Email, SMS, and Marketing Automations

  • Build, deploy, and manage email marketing campaigns
  • Create SMS campaigns and automated workflows
  • Manage CRM tagging, segmentation, and automation logic
  • Monitor deliverability, engagement metrics, and performance reporting

4. CRM Transition & Configuration

  • Serve as the primary marketing contact during the CRM transition
  • Support migration planning, testing, and timeline coordination
  • Assist with data mapping, tagging structures, and segmentation strategies
  • Build and configure marketing automations within the new CRM
  • Validate lead routing, attribution, reporting accuracy, and integrations
  • Document CRM workflows, marketing processes, and best practices
  • Troubleshoot issues related to campaigns, integrations, data flow, and system functionality
  • Support configuration related to a potential phone provider transition, if it occurs during the contract term

5. Website, Funnels & Analytics

  • Build and update landing pages and funnel assets
  • Maintain website content and perform basic SEO updates
  • Install, manage, and audit tracking pixels, UTMs, and conversion tracking
  • Monitor dashboards, reports, and analytics to inform optimization decisions

  • Fully executed and optimized digital marketing campaigns
  • CRM marketing automation workflows and documentation
  • Performance reports and insights as requested
  • Updated website and funnel assets
  • Functional tracking, attribution, and reporting systems


Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience in digital marketing and paid media management
  • Strong copywriting skills with a focus on conversion and performance
  • Hands-on experience with CRMs and marketing automation platforms
  • Experience supporting CRM migrations or system transitions (Applied Epic preferred)
  • Proficiency with analytics, tracking, and reporting tools
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and perform effectively during periods of transition
