Located in Delray Beach, FL
Salary: $16.00 - $19.50
The Customer Service & Counter Sales Associates play a key role in providing exceptional service to customers by managing in-person sales at the counter, assisting with product inquiries, processing orders, and supporting general warehouse operations. This position ensures customer satisfaction through prompt, accurate, and courteous service while maintaining an organized and efficient workspace. Bilingual in English/Spanish is a must.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist walk-in customers at the sales counter with product selection, order placement, and general inquiries
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale (POS) systems
- Provide product knowledge and technical support to help customers make informed decisions
- Assist with pulling, packing, and preparing customer orders for pickup or delivery
- Maintain inventory accuracy by properly logging transactions and reporting discrepancies
- Support warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, and organizing products
- Ensure the sales counter and warehouse areas are clean, safe, and well-maintained
- Coordinate with internal departments to resolve customer issues or special requests
- Handle returns, exchanges, and warranty claims according to company policies
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through friendly and professional communication
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college or technical training preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in customer service, retail, or a warehouse environment
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Basic computer and POS system proficiency
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Knowledge of warehouse operations or industry-specific products is a plus
Work Environment:
This position requires working in both a warehouse and a customer-facing environment. Must be comfortable multitasking and working in a fast-paced setting.
