Job Duties
- Greet guests and provide excellent customer service
- Take orders and serve drinks, including making recommendations and answering questions about menu items
- Process payments and handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
- Uphold sanitation and food safety principles.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Prepping, clearing, & cleaning guest areas to be presentable at all times.
- Check in with customers to ensure their experience is satisfactory.
- Relay reports on customer satisfaction to the management and relevant parties.
- Ensure patrons have all the appropriate tableware they need to properly enjoy their food.
- Assist setting up tables before service with appropriate equipment, napkins and decorations.
- Communicate effectively with other team members, including the food truck operators and management
- Handle various impromptu requests from customers.
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Qualifications:
- No formal education required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a server or in a similar role
- Basic math skills
- Extremely detail-oriented
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong leadership and time management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Must be able to pass Criminal and Drug Background testing
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and events
- Familiarity with bar-specific safety protocols, including fire prevention and emergency response
- Ability to enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines
- Commitment to maintaining a clean, hazard-free environment for guests and staff
