TITLE: Warehouse Associate (JKA Pump & Klein Pump)

SCOPE: “All Things Warehouse”. Includes processing inbound and outbound shipments, storing inventory, maintaining a clean and organized warehouse and shipping area as well as processing RFQs and Sales Orders as needed.

DUTIES:

All the duties listed in the “Inside Sales Associates” job description dated January 2022 are inherent in the job of Warehouse Associate. In addition, the following responsibilities are important parts of the job.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1a) Follow proper freight receiving protocols (copy attached) to ensure all inbound shipments are received in good condition (not damaged), prior to signing for receipt of shipment.

1b) Ensure proper exceptions are made on any inbound shipments received with damages.

2a) Process outbound shipments in a timely manner.

2b) Ensure all shipments that can be shipped are shipped at end of month.

2c) Shipments that cannot be shipped must be reviewed with Supervisor for billing options.

2d) Build shipping crates as needed (ISPM-15 or Domestic).

3) Process “reservations” for Special Orders as required.

4) Process RFQs as assigned.

5) Process Sales Orders as assigned.

6) Process receipt of “inventory” P.O.s per Supervisor’s instructions.

7) Maintain a clean and organized warehouse at all times.

8) Assist in other areas of the business as the best interests of the company may dictate
