Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Funder that has funded out of Resware Title Software and already knows the software to join our dynamic team in the financial services sector. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the loan origination process, ensuring that all funding activities comply with industry regulations and company policies. This position requires a strong understanding of mortgage servicing, underwriting, and credit analysis to facilitate seamless transactions for our clients.
Duties
- Review and analyze loan applications for accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure compliance with FNMA guidelines, TILA regulations, and Fair Housing regulations throughout the funding process.
- Collaborate with loan officers and other stakeholders to gather necessary documentation for loan processing.
- Conduct credit analysis to assess borrower eligibility and risk factors.
- Prepare and execute contracts related to funding transactions.
- Manage escrow accounts and ensure timely disbursement of funds.
- Utilize basic math skills for accurate calculations related to loans and funding amounts.
- Maintain meticulous records of all transactions and communications using 10 key typing skills.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries from clients regarding their loan status.
Experience
- Previous experience in financial services or banking is preferred.
- Familiarity with loan origination processes and mortgage servicing is highly desirable.
- Experience as a loan officer or in underwriting roles will be considered an asset.
- Strong understanding of credit analysis, contracts, and escrow management is essential.
- Proficiency in basic math is required to perform calculations accurately.
