Our client is a leading energy company seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join their team in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. This is a 12-month contract opportunity offering Up to $37/hour for a professional with 6-10 years of business analysis experience. The role focuses on operational and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making within a dynamic energy sector environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct operational and financial analyses to support informed business decision-making
- Lead medium to large special projects from conception to completion
- Perform quantitative and qualitative research using advanced analytical techniques
- Design and modify business processes to optimize operational efficiency
- Develop comprehensive reports and presentations for executive stakeholders
- Apply data visualization techniques using Power BI, SQL, Python, and Excel
- Utilize databases to derive insights including demand modeling, locational analysis, and growth modeling
- Transform qualitative information into defined quantitative datapoints
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize business performance
- Drive projects forward to build enhanced customer data environments
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Information Systems, or related field
- 6-10 years of experience in business analysis and market intelligence
- Proficiency in Power BI, SQL, Python, and advanced Excel
- Experience with business process improvement and optimization
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Experience with data modeling and statistical analysis
