Quality Data Entry Level 1 is responsible for preparing and entering data accurately into company systems, managing documents, identifying and correcting errors, and supporting related processes. This role also includes cross-training in key quality functions and maintaining safety and cleanliness standards in the work area.
Essential Duties and Accountabilities:
- Prepare, compile, and organize documents to ensure readiness for data entry.
- Accurately input information from source documents into designated databases, forms, and files.
- Scan physical and digital records into appropriate document management systems.
- Review completed entries for accuracy and completeness; correct any identified errors.
- Follow up on missing or incomplete information to validate data integrity.
- Perform verification checks and make necessary adjustments to maintain consistency.
- Support quality functions through cross-training in DCR processes, calibration, work instructions, returns, build sheet control, and more.
- Adhere to established safety protocols and quality standards at all times.
- Keep workstations clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to read and follow basic work and safety instructions in English.
- Proficient computer skills, including internet usage and email communication.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office 2010 or later, especially: Excel (including spreadsheets, graphics, and pivot tables), Word, PowerPoint.
- Preferred: Working knowledge of product-specific manufacturing requirements.
- Reliable and consistent attendance is essential to perform this role.
- Must be able to read and write in English.
- Flexible schedule and willingness to adapt to changing work hours as needed.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
- Must be able to move throughout the office environment with minimal reaching above or below desk level.
- Requires handling files, stacks of paper, and other reference materials, with occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs.
- Prolonged use of a computer keyboard and video display terminal requires strength, hand-eye coordination, dexterity, and visual focus.
- Extended periods of sitting are required to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
