As the Service Director, you’ll represent Hinckley as an industry leader in client relationships and quality service. This role will cultivate strong relationships with existing and potential clients and oversee all service projects, ensuring every boat is met with the highest standards. Customer Service: Establish exceptional relationships with customers. Cultivating and maintaining top notch customer support as well as providing frequent updates to customers on the status of their project process/timeline. You will be able to take a consultative approach to understanding customer needs.
Administration: You will project manage, itemize work orders, including parts, costs, and labor. Finalize and invoice work orders. Provide a prompt, detailed, and timely flow of all paperwork while maintaining effective communication on the project to the customer.
Project Coordination: Communicate with manufacturers or warranty to get approval prior to repairs. Coordinate work orders with service managers to schedule workforce and equipment, ensuring delivery/commitment dates are met.
Quality Assurance: Inspect quality of work performed. Monitor service jobs in process and obtain customer approval for growth work or scope changes as needed.
Sales and Marketing: As an industry expert, you will collaborate and communicate with other industry professionals to build a strong reputation for quality and service. Prospect for new business and Identify additional work opportunities and negotiate contracts with the customer.
Other: All duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of experience working in a revenue-generating service position.
Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.?
Qualifications
- Prior experience selling to high-value clients.
- Extensive knowledge of the boating industry.
- Ability to identify new business opportunities to generate revenue.
- Experience in estimating boat repairs, hours of labor, and costs.?
- Strong customer service and sales skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.?
